Jiang'an Enterprise's Smart Instruments Sell Well Globally
2025/07/16On July 11, the China Musical Instrument Association organized a delegation of top domestic music experts to visit "INNEO International," a key enterprise in the Wuhan Institute of Industrial Science and Technology (WIIST) park. The delegation conducted research on musical instrument import-export trade, cultural industries, service outsourcing, and technological innovation in instrument manufacturing. Participants included an official from China National Light Industry Council, Zhao Min (former Party Secretary of the Central Conservatory of Music), and six other industry leaders and departmental heads, who offered targeted guidance for the enterprise's development.
As a municipal government-affiliated research institution, WIIST consistently upholds its mission of "empowering industries through technology and driving development through innovation." Focusing on cutting-edge fields like digital economy and artificial intelligence, it has established a national-level incubation platform. Its WIIST Technology Park incubator has received an "A-class" rating for five consecutive years in national evaluations, having nurtured 75 high-tech enterprises including INNEO International. Leveraging INNEO International as a flagship enterprise, WIIST utilizes its strengths in information technology and educational resources to promote collaborative innovation in music education, digital technology, and intelligent manufacturing. This supports Wuhan’s development as a dual-engine hub driven by "scientific innovation + cultural creativity."
WIIST representatives stated that INNEO International, as an outstanding success from its incubator, has deeply integrated acoustics and semiconductor technology with instrument manufacturing. Breaking through technological barriers imposed by Western countries, its products like smart pianos are exported to over 50 countries and regions. In 2024, the group’s revenue exceeded 400 million yuan, earning recognition as a provincial-level "specialized and sophisticated" SME. This vividly demonstrates the limitless potential of cross-industry integration between technology and music. WIIST will leverage its platform advantages to provide comprehensive support for smart instrument R&D and music technology incubation.
During the visit, experts observed live demonstrations of INNEO International’s smart instruments and a piano-violin-cello trio performance by artists from the Wuhan Conservatory of Music, praising the company’s technological achievements. The Chairman of China Musical Instrument Association advised the company to strengthen its "five strategic orientations" and accelerate digital and intelligent transformation. This research initiative not only charted a development path for INNEO International but also highlighted WIIST incubator’s critical role in fostering tech enterprises and promoting the integration of innovation, industrial, talent, and capital chains.
