The Inaugural "2025 China Violin Art Summit Forum" Concluded Successfully

On June 26, the 32nd Beijing International Musical Instruments Exhibition took place on Beijing, attracting numerous instrument amateurs to the China National Exhibition Center for a musical feast. Simultaneously the inaugural "2025 China Violin Art Summit Forum & PHOENIX Violin Brand Expert Appraisal Event" was held. This event was organized by the China Entertainment Technology Association and hosted by Taixing INNEO Musical Instruments Co., Ltd. They engaged in in-depth discussions on violin craftsmanship, performance art, educational heritage, and market development, while conducting live trials and evaluations of INNEO violins. Experts in violin performance, education, and making featured like Zheng Quan, Internationally Acclaimed Master Violin Maker and "Great Country Craftsman", Zhang An, Eminent Violin Maker and President of the Violin Makers Branch of China Musical Instrument Association, Zhao Kunyu, National First-Class Performer, State Council Special Allowance Recipient, and Concertmaster of China National Symphony Orchestra, Cao Huan, National First-Class Performer, State Council Special Allowance Recipient, and former Concertmaster of the Central Opera House and China National Opera & Dance Drama Theater Symphony Orchestra, Wu Zhengming, National First-Class Performer and former Concertmaster/Head of China Film Symphony Orchestra, Zhang Jinchun, National First-Class Performer and Renowned Viola Soloist, former Head of Central Opera House Symphony Orchestra, Qi Lin, Associate Professor of Violin at Central Conservatory of Music, Yang Ying, Concertmaster of Beijing Symphony Orchestra, Liang Shengming, Violin Faculty at China Conservatory of Music. Industry guests included Fan Mao, Chairman of Jiangsu Huangqiao Musical Instrument Cultural Industry Park Investment Co., Ltd. Yin Zhiyong, General Manager of Beijing Huagang Exhibition Co., Ltd. (under China International Exhibition Center Group), Mr. Gio and Mr. Nicholas, Shareholders of Italian Violin Cremona.
During the forum, experts trialed and appraised PHOENIX violins. A quartet performance by Central Conservatory students using PHOENIX instruments further demonstrated the brand’s quality. Experts unanimously recognized PHOENIX violins for their high cost-performance ratio, recommending them for professional violin teachers, students, and orchestra performers.
With China's rising prominence in global musical instrument manufacturing in recent years, "the world's instrument industry looks to China" has become an foreseeable future for the sector. The appeal, influence, and leadership of Chinese instrument brands are increasingly evident.
Zhu Xincun, Chairman of the China Association of Performing Arts Technology, stated that Taixing INNEO Musical Instruments Co., Ltd.'s initiative aligns with national strategy by leveraging its export-to-domestic sales foundation to expand in the domestic market. Master violin maker Zheng Quan, a National Craftsman Exemplar, analyzed the history, current status, and development trajectory of Chinese violin craftsmanship. He asserted that factory-produced violins can achieve excellence through technological innovation: "Elevating overall factory production standards enables mass-produced instruments to deliver outstanding quality while meeting diverse market demands."
Mr. Zheng Quan commended INNEO's original vision for hosting the event while conducting an in-depth analysis of violin artistry trends. Cao Huan, former Concertmaster of the Central Opera House and China National Opera & Dance Drama Theater Symphony Orchestra, recounted his experience adjusting INNEO violins’ sound, recognizing their solid craftsmanship and uncompromising quality standards.
